Sarah Bohl Photography (the blog)

I laugh. A lot. A portrait session with me is fun, not stiff and formal. I love getting to know my clients, whether for a family shoot or a wedding. I find creativity in new places, and am inspired by so many things. I've teared up at every wedding I've shot, and I'm known to get pretty excited when I capture an amazing moment.

Sarah Bohl Photography is all about telling a story. The pictures I take become memories, stored to look back on whenever you choose. A framed photograph on the wall becomes a tale of growing up, of new ventures, or of starting a new life together. It's the story of where you were and what you hope for the future.

If you'd like me to photograph a special day for you and help tell YOUR story, feel free to contact me at sarah@sarahbohlphotography.com. Also be sure to check out my website, and be sure to visit my Facebook page!

My cousin Jen...

Jenny&Kenny’s Chicago shoot!

Living just 2 hours from Chicago definitely has it’s advantages, and one of those was most definitely getting to photograph Jenny&Kenny’s engagement pictures. Chicago was definitely gorgeous for us this day! And I admit, I took a few more pictures than I usually do on an engagement shoot, just because there was SO MUCH to...

The story of Charis & J-me :o)

So this was my first engagement session…not of the year (Ed&Laura beat them to that priviledge), but of the season.
And what a way to start off! I’ve know Charis for basically forever, as we went to the same elementary school. Her older sister, Anna, was in my grade. So that whole family is amazing. I...

Yay for friends!

Well, I had a great weekend, and that was due in a large part to getting to see so many of my friends! That always makes a day better. :o)
Today it was gorgeous out, so after a yummy breakfast at a cute restaurant/bakery/coffee shop/store/ice cream parlor/chicken coop called “The Gingerbread House” with some great friends,...
