Sarah Bohl Photography Blog bio picture

Sarah Bohl Photography (the blog)

I laugh. A lot. A portrait session with me is fun, not stiff and formal. I love getting to know my clients, whether for a family shoot or a wedding. I find creativity in new places, and am inspired by so many things. I've teared up at every wedding I've shot, and I'm known to get pretty excited when I capture an amazing moment.

Sarah Bohl Photography is all about telling a story. The pictures I take become memories, stored to look back on whenever you choose. A framed photograph on the wall becomes a tale of growing up, of new ventures, or of starting a new life together. It's the story of where you were and what you hope for the future.

If you'd like me to photograph a special day for you and help tell YOUR story, feel free to contact me at sarah@sarahbohlphotography.com. Also be sure to check out my website, and be sure to visit my Facebook page!

Super Saturday

The weird thing about my “off season” (aka non-wedding season) is that I’m still not completely used to having my Saturdays free. Sometimes I remember and I’ll plan something fun with my friends or family, but other times it’s just nice to have a weekend day to myself.

Today I met with my accountant, which was 1) terrifying, but 2) necessary as today is April 10…and I think we all know what April 15 is. There was some good news and some bad news, and I found out that his son is a wildlife photographer in the Northwest US! How cool is that? That’s one great thing about being a photographer, most people can relate because everyone loves a good picture!

Bonnie and Sammy came over for a little while. Sam just learned how to crawl, so that was pretty exciting! The other day I got this video of Bonnie, Sam, and their dog Max. It was hilarious because Bonnie was calling Sam to crawl to her, but Max kept running over instead. And even though Sam had just crawled towards Bonnie a few seconds before, once I had the video camera out he wasn’t moving. Figures. But it was really funny. :o)

Here are some pictures of Max I snapped while Sammy was switching outfits during his last photo shoot. :o)

If a cute kid and a cute dog don’t brighten your day, I don’t know what will!
