Snowy fun!

If you’re anywhere near the Milwaukee or Chicago areas, you’re probably getting hit with about as much snow as we are right now. It keeps coming down!

I only had to drive about a mile today, but the roads were still pretty sloppy. Here’s a (very short) video for those of you who DON’T have to drive in the slush! (Lucky!)

All this annoying-but-beautiful snow has made me and my camera a little stir-crazy, so perhaps that’s why I’m about to offer you this crazy-awesome deal:

Any photo session that books with me this week - so by Tuesday the 16th - is only $75! That ridiculous price is good for UP TO AN HOUR shoot! The only caveat: it has to be in the snow.

Now, for some reason, us Midwesterners don’t seem to LIKE taking pictures in the snow. Which I kind of get…but not really. Yes, it’s cold, and you’re a little uncomfortable, but so is a wedding in August when it’s 90 degrees and 90% humidity! The snow is a beautiful part of one of the four seasons that we actually get to experience here, and I think we should embrace that more!

I just love the contrast that snow provides, and the wonderful natural background that you get!

And think of all the options! A family with their colorful caps and mittens and a snowman! A couple ice skating and holding hands! Snuggling on a sled! Throwing snowballs!

Alright, I’m getting a little too excited. :o)
