Prepare yourself…this is going to be one MAJOR blog post. I loved, loved, loved this wedding so much!
My second-shooter for the day, Lia, got this great shot of the wedding program.

Laurel, her bridesmaids, and her mom started out the day getting their hair done at Live Gallery Hair Design, and they got some yummy breakfast from Alterra.

Laurel was a joy to photograph, with her constant smile and amazing laugh!

Such a beautiful bride!

Laurel surprised her bridesmaids with beautiful handmade unique necklaces for each of them. She bought them all from different sellers on etsy.com

Laurel got treated, in return, to a wedding-day back rub. :o)

I might have been a little bit in love with Laurel’s flowers, because I seem to have taken a LOT of pictures of them… :o)

Do you see the heart in the leaves? How great is that? All the flowers were from local grocery store Sendiks.

All the bridesmaid dresses were a different style, but the same color. So fun!

HELLO GORGEOUS CHURCH! (Christ Church Whitefish Bay)

Married!

Paul&Laurel pretty much RAN to the getaway car after the ceremony, and I love this shot Lia captured of them as they made their escape. :o)

Okay, now for my favorite part of any wedding: portrait time! Paul&Laurel planned out plenty of time (and several amazing locations) for us to capture some great pictures. Here are some of my favorites!

LOVE it. :o)

Yay for fun wedding parties!

This is so them. :o)

Haha…this is even MORE them. :o)

Thank you random person for parking your very pretty car right there. :o)

:o) :o)

The reception was at Cathedral Square Park, which many Milwaukeeans know as the location for “Jazz in the Park” during the summer months.

The reception was absolutely gorgeous!

Paul is an architect, so he understands good design (which is why they hired me, duh! :oP) ANYWAY, he made these wonderful and absolutely unique name place cards. Various pictures of Paul&Laurel graced one side of the card, with the guest’s name on the reverse. LOVED it. :o)

Yummy yummy appetizers (and a great dinner) provided by Lee John’s Catering. The staff was super-friendly and fun, too, which is always a plus! :o)

Speaking of yummy, how about this cheesecake wedding cake?

First dance. *sigh* :o)

Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance

I’ll end (for now) with this shot of the Cathedral (where Cathedral Square Park gets its name).

Paul&Laurel, I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon! Thank you again for letting me capture your amazing day. Your gallery will be up in the next week or so!

*UPDATE* I just found this on the caterer’s website: Paul&Laurel’s recipe for lemon gnocchi. I still don’t know how to pronounce it, but I DO know that it was really, REALLY good. Check out the link to the recipe here: http://www.leejohns.com/images/recipe_lemon_gnocchi.jpg
